Welcome to the street neighbors! I’m Chrissy and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you! Now, let me introduce myself.

Creative from an early age and epically bad at math, I stumbled into stationery design during the design and planning of my own wedding. Requests from friends and family to help with similar projects soon followed, planting the idea of Jones Street Press. With encouragement from my husband, that idea became a legitimate business later that same year. A hobby at first, I spent my days in a 9 to 5 cubicle job I loathed dreaming of color palettes, pretty fonts and of one day making Jones Street a full-time job. As fate would have it, I got that chance in 2011. Following the birth of my daughter, a 2000+ mile move, and no job prospects, it was time to make my dream my reality.

Born and raised in the small town of Harrisburg, Illinois among cornfields and cows, I had a Midwestern upbringing with a heavy helping of southern influence. I hold a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a Master’s in Public Relations from Arizona State University.

Recently relocated to Atlanta, home is with my handsome left-brained husband, our precocious daughter and rough-and-tumble son, and two yellow Labradors, Mason and Dixon. I thank the stars for supportive and understanding parents, a very patient husband, inspiring friends, callous enemies, generous glasses of adult beverages and the knowledge that moments past were always lived to the fullest.

One day I would like to run for public office just for the pleasure of seeing what dirt my opponents can dig up on me. In the meantime, classic films, reading, running, baking, creating messes, shocking my in-laws, recreational Internet stalking and avoiding the signs of aging will keep me busy.

Shhh…I’m secretly plotting against my husband to someday return to Savannah and bring Jones Street Press home.

A boutique stationery shop based in Atlanta, Jones Street Press takes pride in every piece of work that leaves the shop. With a focus on weddings, babies and social stationery design, our goal is to make the planning and design of your paper goods as fun, exciting and stress-free as possible. We do this by listening and honestly caring about our clients.

Jones Street Press takes its name from one of the most alluring and distinguished streets in Savannah, Georgia. A coastal city steeped in history, Savannah’s moss-draped squares and majestic homes of an era gone-by was Chrissy’s home for six years.

While she has moved on, her love for Savannah, the South, and the many characters that make up its rich fabric remain close to her heart.

It was only logical when forming her company to name it for a city holding so many moments that came to symbolize the happy in her life – a superb education, numerous shenanigans, enduring friendships and eventually her own wedding. Savannah is her heart’s home and the cornerstone of magical moments past and to come.
